Single solid or compressed stranded (Class B) copper conductor with extra thickness of FT1 rated flame retardant, low temperature, moisture resisting PVC insulation. Rated 600 volts. LEAD FREE

 

 

For direct earth burial (with protection as required by the Local Inspection Authority). Direct buried installations must comply with 2012 CEC Rules 12-012 and 4-004. For exposed wiring exposed to the weather. Cables are marked "SR" for sunlight resistant (all colours). For service entrance above or below ground. Minimum recommended installation temperature minus 40°C (with suitable handling procedures).

**For 3-wire 120/240 and 120/208 volt residential services or sub-services, the allowable ampacity for size #6 AWG
shall be 60 amperes.
In this case, the 5% adjustment per Rule 8-106(1) cannot be applied.
